Problem definition

During well inspections the gas flow has to be flared by a burnerboom. On the vessels of Seajacks there was no possibilty to hang this burnerboom. Herefor a kingpost was required.

Contribution Stemar Engineering

For the first time Stemar had to engineer and deliver the equipment for the kingpost. Besides the basic and detail engineering a stress calculation was made. Taken into account weight, wind, ice and live load. The fabrication was done in Den Helder and the installation in Vlissingen.

Resultaat

The result is a kingpost which can quit easily be demounted.  For the usage of two types of burnerbooms.
